It gives me immense pleasure to communicate with you all as the Vice-President of Mula Education Society, about Shri Dnyaneshwar Mahavidyalaya Newasa, which has a glorious tradition of more than five decades. MES believes in bringing about changes that are a need of the time. As a result at the campus of SDM Newasa has been accredited by NAAC and awarded ‘A’ Grade (CGPA 3.08) in 2017. Now the college has introduced newly UG and PG curses.

While opening the doors of education for rural students and making it accessible to masses, it has been possible to render appropriate and effective guidance to meritorious students through establishment of two Research Centers in the campus namely in Marathi, and Commerce and Management. Moreover the experienced and 75% Ph. D. faculty along with two Patents from different subjects is our strength. 

Merely the percentage of marks is not enough to pass the examination of life. It is necessary to take learning outside the four walls of the classroom and to infuse self-confidence in the students; the college has recognized innovation and Start-up Centre from Govt. of Maharashtra and SPPU, Pune. The Best College Award and Best Student Development Officer Award (twice) by the Department of Students Development, SPPU Pune justifies the things. 

As an initiative towards green campus, the college has raised the Solar Energy project of 50KWP. The teaching-learning activity is supported by the use of ICT; e-content developed and available on different digital platforms along with digitization of Administrative Office, Examination Department and Library (partially) reflects that the staff is equipped with latest modern approach and faculty with blended teaching-learning methods to mold the youth into successful role models. The college stand committed to the cause of higher education enabling students to develop as intellectually alive and socially responsible citizens ready for continuous and professional growth, and the nation.
